Activity
Activity every day during Easter Break (the 12th – 21st of April) at 2PM
Have you ever wondered what a squid looks like on the inside? Or what a cod ate before it was caught? At Fjord&Bælt, you can get up close as we dissect marine animals and explore their fascinating inner world.
Engage all your senses – see, touch, and smell
Dissections spark curiosity. Cutting open a squid might sound a little extreme – but it’s a rare opportunity to see, touch, and even smell something you wouldn’t normally get close to. Did you know that squids have a beak and a mantle? Or that fish have intestines, a swim bladder, and a heart – just like humans?
Dive into the secrets of marine animals
During a dissection, we uncover the differences and similarities between marine animals and humans. How does a fish breathe underwater? Why do some fish have a swim bladder while others don’t? And what’s inside a cod’s stomach? Perhaps a crushed crab – or, unfortunately, a piece of plastic that has made its way into the food chain.
An experience you won’t forget
At Fjord&Bælt, we bring science to life. Our nature guides create an engaging, interactive, and sensory experience for both children and adults. Whether you love fun facts, want to feel the texture of a squid, or are simply curious about what a heart looks like – a dissection will make you see the ocean in a whole new way.
🦑 Are you ready to experience it for yourself? Visit us and join a dissection – if you dare!
